The “GM Beans” collection consists of 4,200 LSP8 tokens, with trait distributions intentionally crafted to be culturally relevant to the ecosystems that inspired this blend of crypto and coffee. The total supply of beans is a play on the initial supply of the $LYX coin, which started at 42 million. The Gold Bean has a max supply of 210, which is a play on the $BTC max supply of 21 million. The Blue Bean has a max supply of 1,200 due to $ETH having a total supply of approximately 120 million at the time of smart contract creation. The Pink Bean has a total supply of 42, again, this is a tip of the hat to $LYX. We then divided the remaining 2748 beans evenly into the 4 main types of coffee beans produced around the world: Arabica, Liberica, Excelsa, Robustica.

At mint the bean trait is randomized, rendered and stored completely on-chain. Our image files are hard coded on the Lukso blockchain as .SVG files (Scalable Vector Graphics). This means the LSP8 token metadata is not linking to a file stored externally on a server somewhere but our Art is stored on-chain and tied directly to each LSP8 token.
